Skeeter has been promoted!

For good behaviour! Kenneth allowed him. Good boy Kenneth! He sleeps in the bedroom with Tori and us now...

Good boy Skeeter! Just don't mess it up.

Grrrrr.

Lucy's gonna pop soon

Yup. And the father is Skeeter, who is a beagle. Thanks to Rodney, they will be officially called beacocks.

And the reality of the matter: no thanks to Rodney, Lucy is gonna pop with Skeeter's kids who will officially be called beacocks. Idiot. Brothers... they are meant to be slow, stupid and irritating. And I have three of them. Geeez. But I love them nevertheless. Do I like have a choice?

This was of course before Skeeter was sent for a snip snip by Dyanne and me a few months ago. After of course nagging at Rodney to go do it, the women had to be the practical ones to step up to the job.

So... calling ONLY RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS who realise that a puppy DOES NOT REMAIN a puppy and therefore DOES NOT REMAIN in the same cute, adorable state forever, who have a HOME WITH A REASONABLE COMPOUND and who realise and understand that A PET IS FOR LIFE... please contact me and I will forward your information to my brother.

Hmmm... I wonder what they will look like. I've got strange visions in my head. Yikes.

Woof.

The M! The Opera cast save a pigeon!

Or, more appropriately, three of the men aka The Three Tenors in this context (Justin, Zakri and Peter) worked as a team to set it loose, one biatch (me) looked on cooing pigeon sounds to calm the animal down (ya right!) and the rest of the cast watched, guided and cheered them on. Some shouting out about being careful about bird flu amidst all the other suggestions on how to get it free.

The silly bird caught its leg UNDER an air cond compressor. How that happened, we all have no idea. Justin climbed up first and thought he cut open whatever it was that was holding the bird down, with a pen knife that Trudy so helpfully provided. But it was still stuck. Then Zakri helped Justin onto his shoulders so that he could take a better look. Only then did we find out that the whole leg was stuck underneath the compressor. Then Peter came round, lifted the compressor with his strong hands while Justin moved its leg.

Great teamwork. Now we have to make sure we work that way on stage.

Justin said the leg looked injured. Well, I hope it can heal. Miss Pigeon wasn't there when we left yesterday, so she must have flown off. Hope she'll get well. And yes, she is female. It's my blog!

Now to walk the dogs.

So, Skeeter was introduced to his new home two Sundays ago. Kenneth picked him up from Tmn Tun and brought him over. Tori must have been like... "Ooooh *pant* *pant* oh yes oh *pant*... another dog.... wait *pant* *pant* a minute, THAT'S a dog? I am much more beautiful than THAT. Oooh *pant* *pant* he's a male. Hmmm... *pant* *pant* must show him who's boss around here."

And thus she began humping him. Her reign continues. Without doubt. Queen Tori.

Don't panic everyone. No we are not promoting gender reversals (although he is acting a little efemminate since he got snipped), and no, there isn't a breakthrough in science in dogs where the male can conceive. Dogs just do that.

So in the course of the week, Skeeter the blur beagle has learnt to run out of the gate when the opportunity arises, claimed his space by the television, has made enemies with all the other male dogs in the neighbourhood and has learnt to slide open the grill with his head. What an oxymoronic dog! He's blur but he's smart but he's blur but he's smart but...

Let's see if I get tangled in their leashes again when I take them for a walk this evening...

Woof woof miaow! Hiss!

Lalala...

YODELEYHEEEHOOOO!!! Hiya! Ok so... this is my other blog. On animals, about animals, for animals. Anything you want to say drop me a comment. I personally think animals are smarter than us silly humans anyway.

So for starters... on a happy note. Tori is still humping Skeeter to show that she is Top Dog. Skeeter is getting on well although he gets irritated with Tori sometimes. And he HASN'T pee'd in the house. Contrary to what he used to do at the family home when Rodney used to keep him.

Will come back later for more...
