My pet relieves

It's been a while.

During these months of non-blogging, I have helped rehome 4 cats, two of which were a stray and an abandoned one. I hope they are getting along well with their new families. Bo, Mariah, Queen and Karu. It was surreal that Mariah, Queen and Karu were adopted in the space of half an hour after I left them with Dyan that day, since I had to leave for rehearsal and she covered for me. It was as though I had grown attached to them, and there was this invisible shield that I put up that no one could penetrate to get to the cats, until of course I left.

Anyway, shields aside, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, felt as good as to hear Dyan tell me that all of them found loving new homes that day. I felt so light headed and good about life after a long while... like there is actually hope after all. Queen and Karu went to a pair of sisters who were looking for a pair of sibling cats. Mariah went to an expatriate couple who wanted an adult cat. Bo... well, Bo was a favourite, with his 'Puss in Boots from Shrek' eyes, he was popular from week one. Seema's colleague adopted him. Hope they are fine now.

Picked up Donnie from Shantini last week. Another ginger coloured cat like Mariah, except, he a male. Did not have luck. It was a slow day at Damas. And I had to leave early too. It also started to rain as I left. So he has been sent back to her. Will try again next week because he has to get checked up at the vet first. He seems to be sick, coz he had blood in his stools the other day. But he is a jolly cat, and a handsome fella too. Will pursue this case slowly but surely. Thanks to Zal and her kind contribution, I have a bird cage big enough to fit one big cat or a few kittens. At least I don't have to go hunting for a cage now. The only irony is that the cat will be housed in a bird cage... hahaha... life. If only the cat knew that!

Hope the other kitties and doggies there the other day managed to find new homes.

Until the next update... it's back to praying they are all ok out there.

Now Tori and Skeeter are wondering where the hell I am... better go!
